jacket + interior design
Susan Walsh and I had fun collaborating on this project. The trim size, colors and use of hand-lettering were inspired by chicano rock&roll album covers from the 1960s. The binding materials (bright pink cloth and chartreuse headbands) for the cloth edition matched the jacket colors. The marketing department subsequently had bright pink plastic pens made; the end of the pen was shaped like an electric guitar.
